faster background checks using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Provided assistance to a leading university on data protection issues in relation to the
development of an artificial-intelligence solution, notably with regard to retention of personal
data, anonymization of personal data, and the territorial scope of GDPR.
Advised banks, financial services providers, and creditworthiness assessment agencies on privacy
law and the use of data for big data and artificial intelligence applications.
Assisted a leading luxury cosmetics company in the global deployment of Virtual Try-On
technology that would allow users to leverage on AI-powered augmented reality (AR)
functionalities to try various shades of nail polish, lipstick, and foundation on its e-commerce
platform.
Assisted a highway infrastructure operator on issues related to new mobility trends pertaining
to electric vehicles, connected car and AI-driven driverless transportation including issues
about the ownership of and right to use the data resulting from the experimentations, and
ownership of IP developed.

partnership with a European automotive manufacturer, including the shared licensing of the
underlying intellectual property (both background and foreground), as well as the sharing of the
