Prior to joining the firm, Joan served as a partner at a Singapore law firm where she
focused her practice in dispute resolution, with emphasis on commercial litigation
and arbitration. Joan regularly advised Chinese private and state-owned entities to
avoid disputes in Asia (including Singapore, China, Indonesia, and India).
Joan has handled a wide range of matters involving applicable laws that arise from
diverse subject matters such as trusts, insurance, infrastructure, power generation,
and renewable energy. She also has experience with aerospace, banks, consumer goods
and retail, education, intermediary brokers, oil and gas, Sovereign wealth, wealth
management, and private banking.
