Prior to joining the firm Stephen served as a legal intern for the University of
Miami Investor Rights Clinic. Through this role, he drafted memoranda regarding
FINRA arbitration claims involving suitability standards and analyzed financial
statements to determine damages related to unsuitable investments.
In addition, Stephen was previously a summer associate in the firm’s Miami
office. He assisted in the drafting process for complex international stock purchase
agreements and registration right agreements, escrow agreements, various commercial
product and service agreements, and SEC registration forms. Stephen also researched
SEC rules to assist with distribution of securities, and NASDAQ and NYSE rule
proposals governing various initial public offerings.
