Bastian Bongertz is a partner in the firm's Finance practice. He advises German and international clients on banking, finance and capital markets law. He is also experienced in advising on complex financings, including acquisition, corporate, project financing and refinancing. Furthermore, Bastian advises capital market companies, initiators of closed-end funds and banks on capital markets law ventures such as IPOs, capital increases and the issue of investments.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Bastian was a finance associate at a law firm in Frankfurt from 2007, and at a law firm in Düsseldorf from 2005 to 2007. From 1993 to 1995 he was a qualified banker trainee at Deutsche Bank AG in Düsseldorf.
