Cecilia Ehresman is a partner in the firm's Labor, Employment, and Workplace
Safety practice. She is known for her practical, business-focused approach to
problem solving, and is a go-to resource for employers navigating the increasingly
complex employment law landscape. Cecilia represents employers across industries in
complex employment litigation and high-stakes administrative proceedings. Her
experience spans federal and state courts across the nation, as well as appearances
before the EEOC, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies.
Cecilia advises clients on a broad spectrum of employment disputes, including matters
involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour issues, workplace
safety compliance, and restrictive covenant enforcement. She has particular
experience navigating claims under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act,
the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the
Occupational Safety and Health Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
In addition to her litigation work, Cecilia regularly counsels employers on
day-to-day personnel matters, helping clients proactively manage risk and maintain
compliance with state and federal employment laws. She frequently advises on
sensitive terminations, AI use in the workplace, workplace investigations,
accommodations, leave issues, and internal policy development. She also assists with
drafting and revising key employment documents, including offer letters, employment
agreements, separation and severance agreements, employee handbooks, and non-compete
agreements.
