Prior to joining the firm, Cindy served as a summer associate at the firm. In this
role she researched antitrust guidelines and case law regarding group purchasing
organizations and clinical integration. Additionally, she conducted legal research
and analyzed the use and application of extrapolation in decisions at the Department
of Health and Human Services Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals. While
attending Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Cindy clerked for the general counsel
of Rush University Medical Center. During said clerkship, Cindy conducted federal,
state, and municipal research regarding patient’s informed consent along with
EMTALA and CMS’s regulations. Cindy also researched COVID-19 waivers
applicability as they were first emerging.
