Kaitlyn DeYoung is a partner in the firm’s Energy, Infrastructure, and
Resources group, where she serves as development counsel to clients across the power
and infrastructure sectors. Kaitlyn leverages her deep knowledge of project
development and strategic transactions to help clients manage risk and craft
practical solutions.
She advises developers, sponsors, and financing parties throughout the full lifecycle
of energy and infrastructure projects—including site control, permitting,
financing, construction, operation, and the purchase and/or sale of both development
and operating projects. Her experience spans a broad spectrum of energy
technologies, including renewable energy, conventional power, and emerging
technologies. On the infrastructure side, Kaitlyn advises on the development of
energy intensive projects, such as data centers and other large-scale facilities,
bringing a nuanced understanding of development and regulatory strategy.
Kaitlyn has a practical, solution-oriented approach and seamlessly coordinates across
legal, commercial, and technical teams to drive projects forward efficiently and
effectively.
