Katherine Hinson is an associate and provides healthcare regulatory counsel as it
relates to compliance, operational, and transactional matters. She has worked with a
wide range of healthcare clients, including health systems, hospitals, academic
medical centers, behavioral healthcare providers, pharmacies, and private equity
firms.
She focuses her practice on federal and state fraud and abuse matters, operational
and compliance inquiries related to Medicare/Medicaid certification and
reimbursement, contracting, and other issues concerning day-to-day operations.
Additionally, Katherine regularly assists in all stages of transactions between
healthcare providers by conducting due diligence, engaging in legal compliance
reviews, and assisting with licensure and entity integration.
