Michael A. Hedge is a partner in the firm’s Orange County office. His practice
focuses on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, corporate
governance and commercial transactions. Michael regularly provides legal advice to
some of the leading emerging growth companies in Southern California, particularly
in the life sciences and technology industries, during all stages of their corporate
life cycle where he has gained vast experience in counseling entrepreneurs on the
successful growth and development of their business.
He has worked on over 100 capital markets transactions, representing both companies
and underwriters in IPOs, follow on offerings, ATM and other structured
transactions.
Michael's clients include both large and small enterprises, investment banks,
venture capital funds and private equity sponsors. He has experience in a broad
range of industries, including medical device, pharmaceutical, software, food
services, oil and gas, renewable energy, hospitality, manufacturing and services
companies.
Michael is a regular speaker on issues impacting emerging growth companies and
works with entrepreneurs to help develop successful business plans. Prior to private
practice, he served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.
