Michelle Lloyd is an Asset Management and Investment Funds partner at the firm. Michelle has extensive experience advising European, US, and Asian clients on the structuring, establishment, authorization, and on-going operation of investment funds in Ireland; these include a broad spectrum of UCITS and alternative investment funds (AIFs) (including hedge, mutual, and private equity funds, managed account platforms, and master-feeder structures) and the governance and distribution of such entities. 

Michelle is an active industry participant and has served as a member of the Financial Services Business Council of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong from 2016 to 2021 (responsible with formulating annual proposals for the European Commission on the integration of the European and Hong Kong asset management industries) and a member of the UCITS Working Group of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (responsible with amending the legislation and operating features of Stock Connect and Bond Connect to ensure these mutual market access programs were accessible for European funds). In addition, Michelle has served as a representative for the Irish Funds Industry Association in Hong Kong for ten years and is currently a member of the Irish Funds Asia Distribution Working Group.
