Before joining the firm, Paul successfully represented a client on appeal before
a three-judge panel of the Appellate Court of Maryland as a student attorney in the
University of Maryland School of Law Criminal Appellate Clinic. He also served as a
summer associate with the firm in 2023.
During law school, Paul had the privilege of serving as a judicial intern for the
Honorable George L. Russell, III, for the US District Court for the District of
Maryland, where he conducted legal research and wrote memoranda to assist in
adjudicating criminal and civil cases. He was also a law clerk at the Office of the
Maryland State Prosecutor focusing on public corruption, and a legal intern in the
SEC’s Division of Enforcement focusing on cryptocurrency enforcement actions.
Paul also served as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business and
Technology Law where he wrote, selected, and published articles discussing
legal issues at the intersection of business and technology.
Before law school, Paul served as the operations director for a national non-profit
organization. While there, Paul led the internal investigation into, and successful
resolution of, more than 100 alleged organizational policy violations
